Tanjung Setumu Beach

Tanjung Setumu Beach is one of the calmest and most untouched spots on Dompak Island, Tanjungpinang. Located in the southwestern part of the island, this beach is a favorite place to enjoy stunning sunset panoramas. Its open horizon directly facing west makes it one of the best sunset spots in Bintan.

The beach itself offers soft sand, calm sea water, and a truly peaceful atmosphere. Since it's not yet commercially managed, visitors can experience a natural and private feel. Many locals come here in the late afternoon just to sit back, fish, or capture the golden sky before nightfall with their cameras.

This beach is not yet equipped with public facilities like stalls or shelters, so it's advisable to bring your own personal gear such as mats and drinks. But that's precisely what keeps Tanjung Setumu a hidden gem—quiet, serene, and in harmony with nature.

Access to this beach is quite easy from Tanjungpinang City center, taking only about 20–25 minutes by car. There's no entrance ticket or retribution fee, and visitors don't need to stay in the surrounding area to enjoy the beach. However, since public transportation isn't directly available to the location, using a private vehicle or a car charter service is highly recommended.

Tanjung Setumu Beach is not yet included in Amazing Bintan Trips' regular tour routes, but we do facilitate visits here upon special request. This can be an additional destination for tourists seeking an unforgettable sunset experience in a tranquil corner of Bintan.
