Amazing seafood recommendations and a reliable guide cum driver
While the hidden intention of this trip back to Angsana after a long 6 years is to seek self in a place where the wind meets the cloud, the food surprised me and brought me comfort along the way.
Our familiar guide cum driver, Reno have provided my friend and I a wonderful night out. Savouring great & yummy seafood at Kelong Bintan Brother Seafood in the most perfect Chinese style of culinary. A little pricey yes but seafood was fresh. Post dinner activity was to hunt a local store selling pisang as friend was craving for it. Sadly store was closed and we landed up at a local foodcourt drinking Bintang and chilling the melt in a good catch up with Reno.
We've used him the 1st time last year March where he ferried us to the blue lagoon, tanjong pinang and seafood dinner at Kelong Ciwyong. He is a reliable guide who is on time and found to be well verse of the local eateries and attractions of interest. He can even bring guests to nearby islands to learn snorkelling and catch a glimpse of Finding Nemo clown fishes.
Apart from searching for a calm and relaxed getaway from the city buzzle, Reno definitely added sparklesto our short trip with yummy tummy filling cuisine and not forgeting his humorous conversations. We will definitely engage him in our next trip to Bintan =)
